Inflated Appraisals Lead to $627 Million Settlement By Wells Fargo - Largest to Date

The $627 Million represents the largest Mortgage related class action settlement to date and is in addition to a prior $590 Million securities settlement. Appraisal abuses at Golden West, World Savings & Wachovia alleged on page 74 of the complaint. Here are the links:
